Celebrating the Holidays

Rise n' Shine celebrates Kwanzaa, Hannukah, Christmas, Ramadon, and the Winter Solstice in one fabulous December Party.  Sure, the food, the gifts and the fun always draw a crowd, but it is the feeling of togetherness that makes our Holiday Party truly special and our most well-attended family event.  

 

We are look forward to December when friendships will be renewed, volunteers will be thanked and Santa won’t mind laughing out loud with his elves.

Holiday Gift Giving

Every child or teen dreams of presents during the holidays.   Through incredible donors and volunteers, the dreams of Rise n' Shine children come true.   Each child gives us their wish list of needs and wants and we match these children with donors who buy specifically for that child. 

If you or your friends want to sponsor a child or donate gifts, money or holiday presents for the holiday party, contact Michael Dunlop at michael@risenshine.org or 206-628-8949  Ext. 229.  It's never too early to plan for the holidays.

You can also purchase gifts through Angelwish.org.  Simply go to the following link:  http://www.angelwish.org/center/seattle.php. Pick out a gift and it will be mailed directly to us to be given to a special child.

Gift certificates from QFC, Safeway, REI, Costco, Old Navy, The Gap, Fred Meyer, Target and other stores, help us make sure our children, teens and families are not forgotten during the holiday season.
